Becky Dean, BDS(Hons) MFDS RCPS
Hello, I’m Becky. I’m from East Yorkshire, and studied Dentistry in Cardiff. Following my graduation, I was really grateful to be able to move back up to Yorkshire to complete my dental foundation training and begin additional further dental core training in specialist areas. I am pleased to be back in the lovely Yorkshire countryside with my family and friends.
I graduated from Cardiff Dental School in 2016 with an honours degree in dental surgery, and went on to successfully complete my dental foundation training in a busy general dental practice providing primary care. I was grateful to be awarded “best overall achiever” in the Yorkshire division during my foundation year, and went on to successfully complete my MFDS examination with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons.
As I advanced in my career, I decided to expand my skill set further by commencing additional post-graduate dental core training posts in both oral and maxillofacial surgery, and paediatric and special care dentistry. This gave me a wealth of experience in multiple domains of dentistry, and facilitated the development of my clinical skills and knowledge, allowing me to gain a deep appreciation of the different specialities within the profession. I have a keen interest in oral surgery, and in the management of dentally anxious patients.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, keeping fit and visiting national trust sites within the region. I am also currently learning to play the piano, but I am still very much a beginner! I am a keen skier and love visiting the French Alps in the winter when I get chance.
I am so grateful to be a part of the Regent Street Dental team and I am looking forward to meeting you all.
